In the first quarter of 2023, the food and drink app landscape in Peru saw notable trends in downloads and active users on the Android platform. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps:

PedidosYa - Delivery Online maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 34K in mid-January. However, downloads gradually decreased towards the end of the quarter, falling to approximately 23K in the last week of March. The app's weekly active users showed a similar trend, fluctuating between 160K and 180K, ending the quarter at roughly 165K.

DiDi Food: Express Delivery experienced a steady flow of weekly downloads, starting at about 18K and reaching a peak of nearly 22K at the end of January. Despite some fluctuations, downloads remained consistent, closing the quarter at around 20K. Active users also saw an upward trend, increasing from 75K to approximately 86K by the end of March.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery showed a varied performance in downloads, starting at 18K and ending the quarter at about 14K. Active users exhibited a more stable pattern, with numbers ranging from 380K to 440K, ending March with around 396K active users.
